Monotype by Sergei Uchatsch
It is a graphic printing technique, which was invented by Benedetto Castiglione in the 17th century. Instead of on paper or canvas, monotype painting involves painting on glass, hedgehog or metal plates and while the paint is still wet, an impression is made on paper using a press or by hand rubbing. As a rule, this technique only involves a single print possible.
