Printed on a backpack, this artwork “Frog” by Dear.Bon.Vivant from South Korea features the face of a small frog. We can't tell what species it is exactly. The focus is on the face and expression of the little pond dweller. The artwork almost looks like a photograph, but it is actually a drawing. In this work, the artist paid particular attention to the realistic representation of skin and reflections. Of course, the color green predominates in the picture, but the yellow of the eyes and the black of the pupils framed by them draw the viewer's gaze almost hypnotically. From there, the shape of the head leads us forward to the frog's small nose. In the typical playful way of implementing his pictures, this frog also seems to have an inconspicuous smile on his lips, which gives him an imaginative touch despite the realistic depiction.
