ARTLIA's art prints are produced according to standardized paper and canvas formats.
Depending on the aspect ratio of the original artwork and the chosen format, it may happen that the edges of the image are slightly adjusted to achieve a harmonious overall effect and high print quality.
For canvas prints, the ARTLIA team ensures that the main motif is placed as fully as possible on the front side. The side frame areas are continued in color and style to match the original image.
This is a deliberate and common production step with which the ARTLIA team ensures the aesthetic quality of each artwork.

What do we see in this work of art?
This image “Pig” printed on the backpack by Korean artist Dear.Bon.Vivant shows us the face of a young sow. The typical childlike features of his pictures can also be found here. The head is significantly smaller in size compared to the ears, nose and eyes. Our gaze is first drawn directly to the prominent nose and then over the black googly eyes to the large pointed ears. The artist relies on a realistic image of the young animal. We see a slight blur on the outer edges of the pig, which disappears towards the inside, imitating a camera effect. The focus is clearly on the center of the image, especially on the eyes. Here you can see that the animal's gaze clearly falls directly on the viewer. Maybe it should remind us a little of the fate of many animals that often end up on our plates.
